The Ancient Greece

In my opinion, Plato's allegory of the cave illustrates the effects of education on the soul. The allegory of the cave demonstrates the impact of education on the human soul. A philosopher's education moves them along the divided line, eventually ending at the Form of the Good. he describes a group of people who have lived in a cave since birth; in my opinion, Plato talks about how Education is meant to pull every man off a cave as far as possible. Education's goal is not to imbue a person with knowledge, but rather to steer the individual to the right desires. Continuing Socrates' analogy between sight and mind, Socrates says that a wicked man may have a vision as sharp as that of a philosopher. What matters is what he uses that strong vision for. The essential thing in mind is that each recipient will be persuaded by the words you say in a Funeral Oration. In praise of Athens, Pericles inspires his audience to keep fighting; he inspires imitators to recognize the sacrificed dead. As Thucydides noted, these words express the duty of every citizen to participate in defense of democracy and freedom - but if you are like Thucydides and have doubts about the wisdom of the war, then it becomes a more dangerous form of propaganda. Thucydides is not a teacher who gives us clear instructions; he asks us to consider complicated matters
