Primary and Secondary Sources

The main difference between primary and secondary sources as explained in the article differ because of their point of view. Primary sources provide evidence from the first point of view from the source. Primary sources are any source of information or evidence that is created at the moment of an event, secondary sources are can be made by assuming facts or from other primary sources, as the article mentions “we do not know what the Germans were doing before Julius Caesar came into contact with them and took the trouble to give a brief account of them”. That is why secondary sources are not always reliable. Please note here that a secondary source is not the same as "secondhand" knowledge. Be careful of this as you read the article. Then, second (for paragraph 2): why is it important to study history? Studying history is really important in our society because we are living in it. We lived, we are living and we will live history. from studying history you can earn a lot of new things from the past that can help you in the future, as the article says “history offers a storehouse of information about how people and societies behave”. We as a society have made a lot of decisions, they can be good ones or bad ones, but we learn from them through history, that is the main reason why history is important and interesting.
